I remember when Tim posted on Facebook that he had been diagnosed with stage IV colorectal cancer at the heart of the pandemic in late 2020. I was gutted for him and watched his fight through his community updates.

But Tim not only waged a war against his cancer, he picked up the torch and became a fierce advocate for patient advocacy, medical research, and healthcare policy.
